Pictured in the accompanying photograph are John Swindells, Daniel Swindells, Hetty Selwyn, Simon Brocklehurst, Alicia Hull and Peter Crouch. They are all admiring the towering mast - a 50-metre high six-inch tube held upright by lots of steel tether cables.
